Yesterday we pulled out Mom's sewing machine and all the gear that goes with it. I had bought "african" print material to make gifts for various people and C had a special project. Mom was trying to iron but spent so much time showing us how to measure, thread, cut and sew that the ironing took her all day! We eventually sucked her in though and now she is making a pair of trousers, which is far fancier than either C or I could manage. I LOVE craft days!
